Mlejn Culture House

The Mlejn House of Culture is located in Stodulky and has been an important cultural center of Prague for more than two decades. If you want to spend an evening in the rhythm of rock music, listen to the best of Czech folk & country music or take your children to a theater matinee performance, in the pleasant atmosphere of the Mlejn House of Culture you can find all of this and much more.

The Mlejn House of Culture, which was recently completely rebuilt, is a follower of the Mlejn club whose tradition goes back to 1988 and which gained a reputation as one of the most important rock, folk and theater scenes in Prague. Mlejn nowadays puts emphasis on diversity and would like to present a program that would be interesting for audiences of all ages and interests. Therefore the program of this house of culture features theater (including puppet performances), folk & country concerts, pantomime and even the "new circus" performances.

Apart from the cultural program, Mlejn has been traditionally offering various courses and classes for both children and adults. The Mlejn-located rock school "Come to Jam" offers guitar, drums and vocal lessons, there are also classical instrument lessons, regular acrobatic workshops, circus courses, ceramics courses as well as regular Pilates and break dance classes.
