Theaters for Children in Prague

There are many theaters in Prague that stage performances for children, be they marionette theaters, theaters focused purely on repertoire for children or theaters that have both plays for children and adult spectators on their repertoire. Some of them, such as the Spejbl & Hurvínek Theater, have a long-time tradition and their plays for children have been entertaining several generations of children. Theaters for children in Prague stage not only classical Czech fairy tales, but their repertoire includes also new plays. You can see drama, marionette shows, music and movement theater or any combination of these. If you want your children to have a good relation to classical music from an early age, do not miss the special concerts for children held by the Prague Philharmonia (PKF).
